Chris has over 11 years of design experience, founding dv8:media with Adrian in 2003. Chris is a graduate of both Plymouth College of Art and Plymouth University, gaining ND and HND's in Multimedia Design, whilst achieving first class honours through his Photo Media and Design Communications degree, specialising in design and web related technologies.
Within dv8:media Chris carries the lead role in coordinating our creative team. His skills include; CSS, HTML, XHTML, PHP, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design to name a few.
Hannah has over ten years experience building bespoke Content Management Systems for many kinds of projects; large and small, commercial and non-commercial. She is highly motivated, proficient and creative, and delivers flexible systems precisely tailored to the needs of both the administration and the end users.
Hannah's skills include PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (incl. jQuery & Mootools libs), Ajax, XML/XSL and various APIs (incl. Google's).
Lucy's extensive design career includes a BA Hons in Graphic Design and over 10 years full service agency and direct client experience. From assisting local community projects, to her work with global blue chip clients, all projects are approached with the same high standard of professionalism, enthusiasm, creativity and skill, with a clear emphasis on delivering effective results.
Simon heads up one half of a dedicated video production team. Simon and Nick have previously worked together to produce the critically acclaimed web-based show 'The VideoGamer Show', and have each individually worked for such clients as Midway, Songs of Praise for the BBC, and The British Army, the pair spearhead a team of creative's that live and breathe film.
Simon is a graduate of Plymouth University, gaining a BA (Hons) in Photo Media & Design Communication, specialising in film.
Adrian has over 16 years experience working in creative IT and customer service environments, with previous employers including Kingfisher Plc and DSG International. Adrian is a graduate of Plymouth University where he gained a HND in Multimedia Design and an honours degree in Photo Media and Design Communications, specialising in web and design related technologies.
As a founder member of dv8:media, Adrian oversees the operational side of the company, with duties including business development, client account management, sales generation, project management and customer service. Adrian has varied knowledge covering; strategic website and online marketing, email campaign management, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server, CRM's, as well as advanced SEO planning and management.
Ed has been developing for the web for over 10 years and has an impressive range of businesses in his past work, including; BT, NHS, Restormel Borough Council and Westward Instruments.
Ed has a vast technical knowledge but specialises in MySQL (certified), PHP, Javascript, HTML, XHTML and CSS technologies.
Mike is a driven designer, with over 14 years of sound commercial design experience and a proven track record. Working previously for 12 years for a full service advertising and design agency as Art Director, Mike's experience is based on designs that work with the focus always on brand positioning and revenue generating.
Current design credits include local, national and international clients such as; Theatre Royal Plymouth, Plymouth Pavilions, Hackworthy & Sons, Drakes Fine Jewellers, Air SW, National Marine Aquarium, Pennywell Farm & Wildlife Centre, My Place In Cornwall, Call24 and Radar Homes.
Abby has been with the company for since 2009, having joined as a modern apprentice. Abby has grown into her role quickly and is well versed in the administrative side of dv8:media as well as making updates to client sites, handling customer enquiries and service issues. Whilst with us she has completed NVQ Level 2 in both Business Administration and Customer Services.
Abby is an experienced, highly creative blogger and uses html and social media platforms on a daily basis.
Liz offers skills, knowledge and expertise gained as Director and MD of a full service advertising agency and through over 17 years experience in client management roles. Liz has a HND in Business and specialised in Media, Press and Public Relations at the London College of Printing & Distributive Trades. As an Account Director, Liz has managed clients with combined annual marketing budgets of up to £800,000 at any one time, across a variety of sectors including leisure & tourism, hospitality, retail, engineering and commercial services.
From producing effective copy to creation and implementation of a complete marketing strategy, Liz's experience is such that she has been requested to run a number of workshops including branding workshops, online marketing courses and focus groups.
Dan is a highly proficient and innovative developer and problem solver, with over 8 years experience in SQL Server, Visual Basic and Business Intelligence development, working for businesses such as Orange PLC, Deloitte and EC Harris. Dan is a clear communicator giving him the ability to interact with all levels of a business, capturing detailed requirements and translating them into effective designs. This enables Dan to build and implement stable and manageable solutions accompanied by relevant and concise documentation.
Dan's skills include SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Business Intelligence, Data Modeling, Data warehousing, Business Process Automation, Business Objects, Crystal, VB.Net and VBA.
Nick forms the other half of our video production team. As Video Producer Nick considers it his responsibility to be the continuous point of contact during a client's production. From that original spark of an idea, to the delicate matter of making a professional video, Nick will be with you every step of the way. Nick comes complete with an amazing eye for the edit and this ensures the professional quality and finish to your production.
Nick graduated from Winchester University, specialising in Screen Production.
