Libra Advisory Group are a specialist consultancy providing policy, advisory and management services in security and justice sector development, stabilisation and conflict prevention. Libra have provided support worldwide in countries such as; Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Lebanon, Iraq, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

We were pleased to be the unique opportunity to tender for the Libra Advisory Group’s new website project, as the site will be visited by a truly international and worldwide audience.

We worked with a number of consultants at the Libra Advisory Group and we are now pleased to announce that the project is online.

dv8:media developed a full content managed website which can accurately demonstrate the complicated nature of Libra’s work. We included subtle feature such as the geographically based projects selection, using an interactive map. We also applied an image header that generates images in a random sequence, from a possible 35 images and captions. This ensures the site remains fresh each time it is visited, as these can also be added to in the future.

We are pleased to announce that Vibes Music, the leading musical retailer in Plymouth’s city centre, have now launched a new ecommerce store with the help of the team at dv8:media. Vibes have always adopted a forward thinking approach to the web, with their first pages being published as far back as 1999; Vibes owner Simon Young was keen to develop the site further from the static pages that existed. We created a brand new online shop for Vibes that provides their new and existing customers with an easy to use resource for all their needs, from a set of strings to a full orchestra!

The shop can be fully maintained by Vibes staff, allowing them to add and remove stock items as required, easily create special offers and monitor site usage with industry leading analytics. The site can be searched using a broad range of criteria and also provides “light box” style product photography.

We are proud to announce that we have recently launched a brand new website for The Plymouth LINk. The LINk came to us because they needed a manageable and accessible site that could be viewed by users of all ages, regardless of any disabilities or impairments. The Plymouth Local Involvement Network are a network of people who set out to help improve health and social care services, they need to cater for the variety of people that will use the site.

We supplied Plymouth LINk with everything that they needed to make this possible. The site had an accessibility task bar, allowing you to change the font size as well as the background and text colour to suit different forms of colour blindness and dyslexia. There is also an option for a text only version of the site. When it comes to manageability, we have incorporated our custom, easy to use content management system into the site, allowing them to edit any content when they feel necessary. We are pleased with the end result, be it the search listings and the website as a whole, as are those at Plymouth LINk.

Joint owners Ellie Phillott and Lucy Connelly approached dv8:media having worked with them previously on other projects and enjoying the experience. dv8:media were set the task of developing the corporate branding for their new venture; Barton Wykes. Once the branding was complete this went on to include the development of company stationery, customer packs and web based adverts. The brief also included development of their web site, which allows users to easily search through the Barton Wykes property portfolio and also provides a facility to register for property updates via email.
