Relaxer is an experienced contemporary electric adjustable bed retailer in UK that offers excellent value for money with ultimate durability and comfort. They are a trading arm of one of Europe's largest bed manufacturers, looking to build stronger links in the UK.
As a new trading style for their parent company, we were given a design brief to produce a suitable brand and usage guidelines for Relaxer Beds. We spent time discussing key elements of their products, the ethos of the company and also identifying their target market. Once we had a good level of knowledge we started work on the logo design, first delivering grey scale concepts and then developing them further to include colour schemes and typography. The final stage of the initial graphic design work was to deliver a style guide for how the brand elements should be correctly applied to ensure consistency.
Our brief was to help Relaxer Beds gain a foot hold in the competitive electric bed online market. We produced a website design that used the brand to its best potential, utilising professional product photography, produced in line with the style guide. Once the web design concept was approved we integrated it with our own ecommerce website software and added the individual products. Our ecommerce web design and development skills were employed to ensure the best presentation for the various beds and the additional options available to customers, such as; mattress types, massage systems, storage and more. The website linked to the SagePay payment system via a secure web page.
