The junior web designer will be part of our in-house team and will be required to make a significant contribution to the design and production of new and existing client websites and user interfaces.

The successful candidate will work with other designers and developers in our web team and will be given full training on the dv8media brand guidelines and our product range. They will then become responsible for additions and improvements to our website, and be involved in the design and development of our own promotional materials.

This is a unique entry-level Web Design position for a highly talented web designer looking to make their mark and help enhance dv8media’s web team.

We are holding a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on the 30 September at Tamar Science Park. With the help of Public Relations Consultancy, Fireproof PR, we are organising this unique event to raise awareness and funds to help continue the great work that Macmillan nurses do.

Adrian Saunders, director at dv8:media lost his mum, Jean, to cancer eight years ago and everyone in the dv8 office has been affected by this disease in some way. After experiencing the great work the Macmillan nurses do, we all decided to hold a fundraiser to give something back to the charity.

The event will be taking place in the Bayliss Reception at Tamar Science Park at 10am on Friday 30 September. At 11:30am we will take this special coffee blend to The Mustard Tree Macmillan Centre at Derriford Hospital, to serve staff and nurses who spend their day serving and helping others.

Organic coffee roasters, Owens of Modbury has created a special Macmillan blend of coffee in support of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. The roastery was fired up on Wednesday to make a special darker roast blend of Central American and African beans for the bespoke creamy and mellow Macmillan coffee.

Many local businesses have shown their support by donating fantastic prizes for our raffle that will take place on the day. These include an Armani watch from Drakes Fine Jewellers, Four tickets to see Cinderella along with a two course meal and drinks courtesy of the Theatre Royal and Call24 Hour, a photographic portrait sitting with Trevor Burrows and much more.
